Odisha Research Centre Invites Applications for Director Position – Sarkari Naukri

The Odisha Research Centre (ORC), Bhubaneswar, a Public Trust dedicated to research, knowledge, and public policy, is inviting applications for the prestigious position of Director. This is a full-time role, with the Director serving as the Chief Executive Officer of ORC. The appointment is for a term of three years, extendable for an additional three years based on satisfactory performance. However, it’s crucial to note that no individual can hold the post after attaining the age of seventy years. This post is equivalent in rank and benefits to that of a Professor in a recognized university.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must showcase strong leadership in research, policy, or institutional development. Applications are welcome from:

1. Academia:
   • Ph.D. in Social Sciences/Humanities/allied disciplines;
   • Minimum 15 years of teaching/research experience;
   • Strong publication and research leadership record.
2. Civil Services:
   • Serving/retired officers from All India or Central/State Civil Services;
   • Minimum 14 years of government service;
   • Experience in policy, governance, or development relevant to ORC.
3. Industry/Think Tanks/Development Sector:
   • At least 14 years in senior roles in reputed institutions;
   • Proven track record in knowledge leadership, innovation, or public policy.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be conducted by a Search-cum-Selection Committee constituted by the Board of Trustees.
