The Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL), under the Directorate of Forensic Science Services, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, is inviting applications for the position of Senior Translator.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible candidates include officers from the Central/State Government/Union Territories who meet the following criteria:

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or
• Having five years of regular service in the grade after appointment in posts at pay level-6 (Rs. 35400-112400).

Essential Qualifications

Applicants must possess a Master's degree from a recognized university in one of the following:

• Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as medium of examination at the degree level; or
• English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as medium of examination at the degree level; or
• Any subject other than Hindi or English, with both Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects at the degree level.
