The Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2025 is conducted by the Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) for recruiting teachers for classes 1 to 5 (UTET-I) and classes 6 to 8 (UTET-II) for all government schools in Uttarakhand.

Graduation and B.Ed. (50% marks) are also eligible, provided they complete a 6-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education within 2 years of appointment.
Class 6 to 8 (Elementary Class)	Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed (including Special Education) OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1-year B.Ed as per NCTE norms. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with 50% marks and 4-year B.El.Ed OR 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed./B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. is accepted. Candidates appearing in the final year of these courses are also eligible.
