With two exam days still to go, candidates should not confuse the two documents UPSSSC has issued: the UPSSSC PET Admit Card 2026 is the only paper that gets you into the hall. The Preliminary Eligibility Test runs on 25-10-2026, 30-10-2026 and 01-11-2026, and hall tickets have now been released for all three dates, including the 01-11-2026 paper.

PET is a preliminary eligibility test. Qualifying it makes candidates eligible to apply for Group B and Group C posts advertised by UPSSSC later; the PET score itself is not a final appointment.
UPSSSC conducts recruitment for Group B and Group C posts of the Uttar Pradesh government, and PET is its common preliminary eligibility test.
