📚 Components of the Scholarship

Component 1: Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students

Eligibility

• Students belonging to SC category
• Parents'/Guardians' annual income not exceeding Rs 2.50 Lakh

Scope

• Students in class IX and X in recognised schools
• Applications are verified by the State Government/Union Territory
• Coverage of the poorest households

Entitlement

• Academic allowance for Day Scholar: Rs. 3500 and for Hosteler: Rs. 7000 per annum
• 10% extra allowance for Divyang (specially abled) students

Component 2: Pre-Matric Scholarship for Children of Parents/Guardians Engaged in Hazardous Occupations

Eligibility

• Students whose parents/guardians are engaged in unclean and hazardous occupations
• No income limit criteria

Scope

• Students in classes I to X in recognised schools
• Applications verified by the State Government/Union Territory
• Coverage of the poorest households

Entitlement

• Academic allowance for Day Scholar: Rs. 3500 and for Hosteler: Rs. 8000 per annum
• 10% extra allowance for Divyang (specially abled) students

• Aadhaar Number (UID)
• Aadhaar seeded Bank Account
• Income Certificate
• Previous Year Marksheet
• Caste Certificate
