Delhi University has witnessed a record-breaking surge in undergraduate admission applications for the academic year 2025-26. Over 3.05 lakh candidates have registered on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal, with 2.39 lakh candidates submitting their programme and college preferences after the CUET UG 2025 results were announced. This has led to intense competition, with over 1.68 crore unique college-programme preferences recorded.

- Application Numbers: A total of 3,05,357 candidates signed up for the CSAS portal, with 2,39,890 completing the process by submitting their preferences.
- Gender Distribution: Women account for 53.06% of the applications, while men constitute 46.93%. There are also 3 transgender applicants.
- Special Quotas: The university has introduced the Orphan Quota, with 512 applicants, and the Single Girl Child Quota, with 7,243 applicants.
- Most Preferred Courses: BCom (Hons) is the most popular course, receiving 19,90,966 applications.
Admission Process
- CSAS Portal: Applications are processed through the CSAS portal at ugadmission.uod.ac.in using CUET UG scores.
- Simulated Ranks: Announced on July 15, 2025, allowing candidates to reorder, add, or delete their preferences until July 16, 2025.
- Seat Allocation: The first list of seat allocations will be released soon, following the simulated ranks.
- Curriculum and Quotas: The university has incorporated class 10 marks in the tie-breaker process and includes supernumerary quotas like ECA and Sports.
