Job Profile
The Director serves as the Principal Executive Officer, overseeing the administrative operations of NIRM and ensuring it continues to meet its core objectives. This role includes steering the Institute towards establishing it as a Center of Excellence.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential: 1st Class B.E./B. Tech. or 1st Class M.Tech/M.E. in Mining/Civil Engineering or 1st Class Post Graduate in Geology.
Desirable: Ph.D. in Mining/Civil Earth Sciences related to rock mechanics/geotechnical engineering.
Experience
20 years or more in research/teaching/industry with significant contributions in rock mechanics and related fields including five years of service at Pay Level-13 A or equivalent.
Scale of Pay
Pay Level-14 (7th CPC)
Age Limit
Up to 68 years as of the closing date of applications.
Method of Recruitment
Direct Recruitment/Deputation/Short-Term Contract.
