🏫 Components of the Scholarships

Component 1: Pre Matric Scholarship for SC Students

Eligibility

• Students belonging to SC category
• Parents'/Guardians' annual income not exceeding Rs 2.50 Lakh

Scope

• Students studying in class IX and X in recognised schools
• Applications are accepted and verified by the State Government/Union Territory
• Coverage of the poorest households

Entitlement

• Academic allowance for Day Scholar - Rs. 3500 and Hosteler - Rs. 7000 per annum
• 10% extra allowance for Divyang (specially abled) students

Component 2: Pre Matric Scholarship for Children of Parents/Guardians Engaged in Unclean and Hazardous Occupation

Eligibility

• Students whose parents/ guardians are engaged in unclean and hazardous occupation
• No income limit criteria

Scope

• Students studying in classes I to X in recognised schools
• Applications are accepted and verified by the State Government/Union Territory
• Coverage of the poorest households

Entitlement

• Academic allowance for Day Scholar - Rs. 3500 and Hosteler - Rs. 8000 per annum
• 10% extra allowance for Divyang (specially abled) students

• Aadhaar Number (UID)
• Aadhaar seeded Bank Account
• Income Certificate
• Previous Year Marksheet
• Caste Certificate
