🔍 Job Details

The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) is inviting online applications from eligible Indian Nationals for the position of Junior Technician. Candidates are requested to apply online only, as no other means/mode of application will be accepted.

Available Posts and Qualifications:

• Infrastructure Planning: 2 UR
  Qualifications: Certificate Course in Electrical Trade with 3 years of experience in operation of 33 / 11 KV, 400/433 KV substations and DG sets. ITI Certificate course after completing 10th standard will also be considered.
• Management (IPM): 1 EWS
  Qualifications: ITI Certificate in Carpentry with 3 years of experience.
• Central Instruments Facility (CIF): 1 UR
  Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Physics/Chemistry or Minimum Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Physics, Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering. Desirable: Hands-on experience in operating analytical equipment.

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in operating high-end equipment such as Spectrophotometers, Mass Spectrometers, X-ray diffractometers, microscopes, and Magnetometers.
