ICAR-National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources (NBPGR) has announced a walk-in interview for the following positions under the DBT funded project titled "Mapping and mobilization of fuel resistance genes from Indian landraces to broaden the genetic base for improvement of wheat varieties":

  • Project Scientist II: 1 Position
  • Scientific Administrative Assistant/Field Worker: 2 Positions

Post Details

1. Project Scientist II (1 No.)

  • Emoluments: Rs. 67,000 + 24% HRA
  • Increment: 5% for every 2 years of experience
  • Desirable Qualification: Doctoral degree in Science with specialization in Plant Sciences or related field, with 3 years of experience in research and development.

2. Scientific Administrative Assistant/Field Worker (2 No.)

  • Emoluments: Rs. 18,000 + 24% HRA
  • Tenure: Post sanctioned up to 30th July, 2029
  • Desirable Qualification: Experience in molecular biology and bioinformatics as demonstrated by published research papers.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Upper Age Limit: 50 Years
