About the Building Materials and Technology Promotion Council (BMPTC)
Established under MoHUA, BMPTC aims to:

- Advance methods for natural disaster mitigation and rehabilitation of affected human settlements.
- Provide project management and consultancy services in various housing schemes.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Mode of Appointment: Direct Recruitment
- Essential Qualification: An engineering degree from a recognized university in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or Architecture; or a Master’s degree in one of these fields with specialization in building materials and low-cost housing technology.
- Experience: Minimum 18 years total experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role related to building materials and low-cost housing technology.
Job Description
The Executive Director will oversee BMPTC’s operations in compliance with the governance stipulated by the Board of Management. Responsibilities include:
- Directing staff and supervising BMPTC programs.
- Sanctioning expenditures within budget and finalizing the Annual Report.
Salary and Age Limit
- Pay Scale: Level-14 of the Pay Matrix (7th CPC) plus applicable allowances.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 55 years for direct recruitment; not exceeding 56 years for deputation.
