Engagement of Retired Officers as Consultants at Central Information Commission

Eligibility Criteria

1. Consultant (Section Officer)
   • Must have retired from the post of Section Officer or equivalent in the Central Government in the pay level - 8 or above.
   • Experience in administration or accounts is essential.
   • Must possess working knowledge of MS Office and internet browsing.
   • Age not exceeding 62 years as on the closing date for applications.
2. Consultant (Private Secretary)
   • Must have retired from the post of Private Secretary or equivalent in the Central Government in the pay level - 8 or above.
   • A minimum of 3 years experience in protocol duties is required.
   • Must possess working knowledge of MS Office and computer handling.
   • Age not exceeding 62 years as on the closing date for applications.
3. Consultant (Protocol)
   • Must have retired from Central Government duties in the pay level - 8 or above.
   • A minimum of 3 years experience in protocol duties is required.
   • Age not exceeding 62 years as on the closing date for applications.

Remuneration and Engagement Terms

The remuneration for consultants will be determined by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at retirement. The initial engagement period will be for 3 months, extendable based on performance.
