Delhi University (DU) has publicly released its first round allocation scores for undergraduate admissions for the 2025–26 academic session, using Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores as the basis. For the first time, the university has made these minimum allocation marks openly available on its official website, admission.uod.ac.in, allowing applicants to view college- and course-specific cutoffs directly. The process is managed through the DU CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) portal, ensuring a centralized and transparent allocation mechanism.
Hindu College recorded the highest cutoff in this round—950.58 out of 1,000—for the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Political Science programme under the General category. This marks Hindu College as the most competitive for this course in the current admission cycle. Other top colleges such as St. Stephen’s, Miranda House, Lady Shri Ram College, SRCC, and Hansraj also reported high cutoffs across popular subjects.
Over 72,000 candidates accepted seats in the first round across 69 colleges and 79 courses. Of these, 14,939 acceptances have been approved by the respective colleges as part of the first round allocations. The university is offering a total of 71,642 seats this year, spread across 91 colleges and over 1,500 course-college combinations. Special quotas, such as the supernumerary single girl child (1,325 seats) and orphan quota (258 seats), were also part of this allocation.
Applicants can check their allocation status and cutoff details by visiting the DU official admission portal, entering their CUET application number and password, and downloading the relevant PDFs for reference.
Candidates who did not receive an allocation in the first round can participate in subsequent rounds based on their CUET 2025 scores. The university’s move to publicize cutoffs and allocation scores marks a significant step toward transparency in the highly competitive DU admissions process.
