The Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE), part of the Ministry of Defence, Avadi, is at the forefront of designing and developing state-of-the-art Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFVs). With core competencies in turret systems, automotive technology, and electronics, CVRDE seeks to engage Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellows (JRF) in various engineering disciplines.

Vacancies and Disciplines

A total of 90 vacancies have been announced for the JRF positions across different engineering disciplines. Below are the details:

• Mechanical Engineering: 2 positions
  Essential Qualification: B.E/B. Tech (First Division)
  Remuneration: Rs. 37,000/-pm
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering: 2 positions
  Essential Qualification: M.E/M. Tech (First Division)
  Remuneration: Rs. 37,000/-pm
• Electronics and Communication Engineering: 1 position
  Essential Qualification: Degree from foreign universities recognized by AIU
  Remuneration: Rs. 37,000/-pm
• Software Engineering: 1 position
  Essential Qualification: No allied or equivalent Engineering discipline eligible
  Remuneration: Rs. 37,000/-pm
