Central Institute of Psychiatry Nursing Officer Recruitment 2025
The Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi, has announced the recruitment for the position of Nursing Officer at Level 07 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 44900-142400) Group-B. A total of 500 vacancies are to be filled through the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET)-9, organized by AIIMS New Delhi.
Eligibility Criteria for NORCET
To be eligible for appearing in the NORCET, candidates must meet the following educational qualifications:
- Essential Qualification:
- I a. B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing from a recognised University or Institute; or Regular Course in B.Sc Nursing from a recognised University or institute; or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from recognised University or institute;
- b. Registered as a nurse or nurse and mid-wife with the State Nursing Council.
- OR II a. Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from a recognised Board or Council;
- b. Registered as a nurse or nurse and mid-wife with the State Nursing Council; and
- c. One year experience in a minimum fifty bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification.
Age Limit
- Not exceeding thirty years. (Relaxable for Government servants up to five years as per Central Government instructions.)
- Age shall be counted on the last date of closing of the application form.
Application Fees
- General/OBC Candidates: Rs. 3000/-
- SC/ST Candidates/EWS: Rs. 2400/-
- Persons with Disabilities: Exempted
The application fee can be paid through DEBIT CARD/CREDIT CARD/NET BANKING. Please note that the application fee is non-refundable and applications without payment will be rejected.
