- Primary (Class 1–5): Senior Secondary with required teacher-training qualification (D.El.Ed / B.El.Ed / JBT) plus CTET or Bihar TET Paper-I qualified / appearing.
- Middle (Class 6–8): Graduation with B.Ed / D.El.Ed plus CTET or Bihar TET Paper-II qualified / appearing.
- Secondary (Class 9–10): Graduation / Post-graduation in the relevant subject with B.Ed, plus STET Paper-I qualified / appearing.
