💼 Eligibility Criteria for Accounts Officer
- Officers under the Central Government holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the same cadre/department or with 5 years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment on a regular basis in Pay Level-5 or equivalent.
- Possessing any one of the following qualifications:
- A pass in the SAS or equivalent examination conducted by the Organized Accounts Departments of the Central Government;
- Successful completion of training in Cash and Accounts Work in the IST or equivalent training course and a minimum of 3 years of experience in Cash, Accounts, and Budget work.
Note: The departmental officers in the federal category wherein the direct line of promotional post will not be eligible for appointment on deputation.
