The North Eastern Council Secretariat is seeking to fill one (1) position of Adviser (Health) on a deputation (including short-term contract) basis. Position Details

• Name of the Post: Adviser (Health)
• No. of Post: 01 (one)
• Scale of Pay: Rs. 18,400-50,22,400/- (5th CPC) / PB-4 Rs. 37,400-67,000/- + GP Rs. 10,000/- (6th CPC) corresponding to Level-14 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC.
• Method of Recruitment: Deputation (including short-term contract).

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department, or
• Three years of service in the grade rendered after appointment on a regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs. 14,300-18,300/- (5th CPC) / PB-4 Rs. 37,400-67,000/- + GP Rs. 8,700 (6th CPC), or
• Eight years of service in the grade rendered after appointment on a regular basis in posts of pay scale Rs. 12,000-14,600/- (5th CPC)...

Qualifications and Experience Required

The candidates must possess the following:

• Recognized medical qualifications included in the First Schedule, Second Schedule, or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• Post Graduate Degree or Diploma mentioned in Schedule V of Central Health Service or equivalent.

Job Responsibilities

• To advise the Secretary of the North Eastern Council on health and educational programs.
• To formulate ongoing health projects and schemes.
• To assist State Governments pertaining to health and educational matters.
