The qualification bar rises with the post. Principals and Vice-Principals need a master's degree and a B.Ed. along with the prescribed teaching or administrative experience. PGT applicants need a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject with a B.Ed., while TGT applicants need graduation in the subject, a B.Ed. and CTET Paper II. PRT applicants need Class 12 with a D.El.Ed. or B.El.Ed. and CTET Paper I; Librarian applicants need a Library Science degree (or graduation with a Library Science diploma); and Balvatika Teacher applicants need Class 12 with an NTT or early-childhood qualification.
